Carsen Edwards: Moved to Memphis
Edwards -- along with Kris Dunn and a 2026 second-round pick -- was traded from the Celtics to the Grizzlies on Friday for Juancho Hernangomez, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The Scoop: The 23-year-old guard has struggled to find a role in his first two seasons. He's appeared in just 68 games and has averaged 3.6 points on 37.2 percent shooting. Despite his struggles, Memphis is content taking on young projects, as the organization seems to still be working on a rebuild despite relative success over the past two seasons. That said, expectations should be tempered for Edwards, who likely won't see action every game.
