Okeke will start Sunday's game against the Wizards.

The Scoop:Okeke returned from a five-game absence due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols Wednesday and came off the bench the past two games, but he'll now rejoin the top unit with Wendell Carter (hamstring) sidelined. He started the five games preceding the absence and averaged 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 3.2 steals in 306. minutes, and he should see plenty of run sans Carter.

Chuma Okeke: Will be available Wednesday
Okeke (conditioning) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's contest against the 76ers.

The Scoop: Okeke cleared the NBA's health and safety protocols Monday, but he was sidelined for the night's matchup against Chicago. However, after presumably getting a few practices under his belt, the 23-year-old forward has worked his way back into game shape and will be available Wednesday.

Chuma Okeke: Clears protocols, still out Monday
Okeke has cleared COVID-19 protocols but will remain out for Monday's game against Chicago, Orlando Magic Daily reports.

The Scoop: While Okeke has tested out of protocols, the Magic are still listing him as "out" on the official injury report with a "return to play conditioning" designation. Essentially, Okeke will need another day or two to get his wind back, but he should have a good chance to make his return to action Wednesday against the 76ers.

Chuma Okeke: Placed in COVID-19 protocols
Okeke was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Sunday.

The Scoop: Okeke had started the Magic's previous five games, averaging 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 1.6 assists over that span. In his absence, expect Wendell Carter (leg) and Robin Lopez to draw starts in the frontcourt, while Admiral Schofield and Aleem Ford operate off the bench during Sunday's matchup with the Heat.

Chuma Okeke: Another solid outing
Okeke ended with 12 points (5-14 FG, 2-11 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and six steals across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 104-98 victory over Atlanta.

The Scoop: Okeke has strung together three straight games of double-digit scoring, also accumulating a whopping 14 steals over that span. A strong three-point shooter in college, Okeke has only connected on 24.5 percent of his triples this season. While he was cold on Wednesday he hasn't been gun-shy lately. He's worth monitoring on the rebuilding Magic.
