Romeo Langford: Set to start Wednesday
Langford will start Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.
The Scoop: With Kemba Walker getting his usual rest on a back-to-back, Langford will move into the lineup at one guard spot, while Marcus Smart gets the nod at point guard. It will be just the third appearance of the season for Langford, who made his long-awaited debut over the weekend against Charlotte. In Tuesday's loss to Philly, Langford scored two points with one assist, one rebound and one steal in 14 minutes.

Romeo Langford: Available Sunday
Boston head coach Brad Stevens said Langford (conditioning) will be available for Sunday’s game against Charlotte, Marc D’Amico of the Celtics’ official site reports.
The Scoop: Langford looks like he'll finally be able to make his season debut Sunday after an extended absence due to wrist surgery followed by a more recent bout with COVID-19. Though Langford cleared all health and safety protocols last week and rejoined the Celtics, he's still working to regain conditioning after missing time due to the illness. Stevens said that if Langford is included in the rotation Sunday, he'll only play one or two brief stints off the bench.

Romeo Langford: Not ready to play Friday
Langford (conditioning) is unavailable for Friday’s game against the Rockets.
The Scoop: The 20-year-old was initially clear of the injury report for Friday's matchup with Houston, but he apparently still has some work to do with his conditioning after recovering from COVID-19. Langford should continue working out with his next chance to take the court coming Sunday against the Hornets.

Romeo Langford: Cleared to play
Langford (conditioning) will be available Friday against the Rockets, Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston reports.
The Scoop: Hip and wrist injuries, along with health and safety protocols, have prevented Langford from playing this season. However, he'll finally be available for a game Friday. It's not a guarantee he'll see the court, but he'll represent another option on the wing for coach Brad Stevens when the offense is stagnant.
