Khyri Thomas: Won't return Friday
Thomas won't return to Friday's game against the Clippers due to a right lower leg injury, Cayleigh Griffin of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.
The Scoop: The forward suffered the injury sometime during the second half of Friday's matchup. Thomas posted 17 points across 8-of-11 shooting while dishing out five assists and grabbing three rebounds prior to his early exit. Thomas should be considered questionable for the Rockets' season finale Sunday against Atlanta.

Khyri Thomas: Enters starting five
Thomas will start Wednesday's game versus the Lakers, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.
The Scoop: The 25-year-old will make his first start of the season with the Rockets still extremely shorthanded. Thomas has averaged 20.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.7 steals in 28.7 minutes through three appearances since signing a 10-day contract last week.

Khyri Thomas: Continues stellar bench production
Thomas produced 18 points (6-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists and four rebounds across 29 minutes in Monday's 140-129 loss to the Trail Blazers.
The Scoop: The Creighton product is making the most of his opportunity with Houston, and he's a perfect example of how teams out of contention can discover talent from the G-League ranks. The addition of Thomas has bolstered a fragile rotation that suffers without John Wall and Christian Wood.
