Brown (illness) will be available for Wednesday's game against Detroit.
The Scoop: Brown was battling an illness earlier in the week, but he's been removed from the injury report and will be set to play off the bench in the opener. The ex-Wizards has the size to play multiple positions, so he could see reserve minutes behind DeMar DeRozan at small forward and Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso at shooting guard.
