Lyles finished Wednesday's 114-93 loss to the Bucks with 19 points (7-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and seven rebounds over 23 minutes.

The Scoop:Surprisingly, Lyles was the top scorer for Detroit in a game where the entire offense struggled badly. The veteran forward has scored in double digits just four times all season long, however, so these scoring performances are not likely to be a common thing with him going forward.

Trey Lyles: Well-rounded line in 17 minutes
Lyles had eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in Sunday's loss to the Nets.

The Scoop: The offseason pickup of Lyles flew under the radar, but he's been a key piece in Dwane Casey's rotation thus far. Lyles has now played double-digit minutes in all six games, but he's not seeing quite enough time to warrant picking him up in most fantasy leagues.

Trey Lyles: Leads bench in scoring
Lyles contributed eight points (2-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and a block across 21 minutes of action during the Pistons' 122-104 loss to the Hawks on Monday.

The Scoop: Lyles has scored a combined 20 points in his last two contests. He shot a respectable 38.7 percent from behind the arc on 2.7 attempts per game for the Spurs two season ago. Lyles is still just 25 years old, and perhaps Detroit will eventually look to incorporate him over veteran Kelly Olynyk. Until then, he'll remain a fantasy afterthought outside of very deep formats.

Trey Lyles: Headed to Detroit
Lyles and the Pistons agreed to terms Monday on a two-year, $5 million contract, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

The Scoop: A lottery pick back in 2015, Lyles will join his fourth team in seven seasons following stops in Utah, Denver and San Antonio. He's never quite been able to establish himself in a permanent role, but Lyles will head to a Pistons team in need of some depth at forward behind Jerami Grant. Hobbled by an ankle injury, Lyles appeared in only 23 games last season, averaging 5.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.6 made threes in 15.6 minutes per contest.

Trey Lyles: Ruled out Wednesday
Lyles (ankle) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

The Scoop: Lyles hasn't played since March 24 and won't be available for the Spurs' opener in the play-in tournament. If San Antonio manages to get a win on Wednesday, Lyles' next chance to suit up would come Friday against the losing team of the Warriors-Lakers matchup.
