Zach LaVine: Poor shooting effort
LaVine recorded 14 points (6-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt), five assists and four rebounds across 33 minutes in Saturday's win over the Pistons.
The Scoop: LaVine had surpassed the 30-point mark in each of his first two games of the season, but he wasn't able to replicate that Saturday and delivered a subpar shooting performance. That will likely be an outlier rather than the norm going forward, though, and if the first three games of the season have shown anything, is that LaVine will still be Chicago's go-to player on offense above the likes of DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic.

Zach LaVine: Scores 32 points
LaVine recorded 32 points (11-19 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one block during a 128-112 win Friday versus New Orleans.
The Scoop: LaVine recorded 30-plus points during each of the Bulls' last two games. His recent point tallies are promising, especially considering neither Nikola Vucevic nor DeMar DeRozan scored more than he did.

Zach LaVine: Efficient in opener
LaVine ended Wednesday's season-opening win against the Pistons with 34 points (11-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 11-11 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes.
The Scoop: LaVine continued his dominance from last season by carrying the offensive load, as many of his teammates struggled shooting the ball. With offseason pickups DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball making their Bulls' debuts, it's great to see Lavine keeping up his efficiency. However, DeRozan took the same amount of shots as LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic took four more shots, meaning that LaVine could end up being a second or third option offensively when these fellow all-stars are hitting their shots.

Zach LaVine: Goes for 31 in finale
LaVine finished Friday's preseason game against Memphis with 31 points (9-18 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 9-10 FT), six rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block.
The Scoop: The new-look Bulls capped off an encouraging, undefeated preseason with a resounding win over the Grizzlies in which four of five starters played at least 30 minutes. LaVine closes out the exhibition schedule with averages of 22.5 points (51.7% FG), 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.0 minutes per game.
