Ellington (hamstring) didn't participate during the Lakers' practice Sunday, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

|Wayne Ellington: Diagnosed with Grade 1 strain|
Ellington underwent an MRI on Wednesday that revealed a Grade 1 hamstring strain, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The Scoop: Ellington missed Tuesday's preseason game against the Warriors due to a hamstring issue, and it appears likely that he'll be sidelined for Thursday's exhibition matchup against Sacramento. If the 33-year-old is held out to begin the regular season, Malik Monk (groin), Kendrick Nunn (ankle) and Kent Bazemore would likely be in line for increased roles.
