Thaddeus Young: Joins protocols
Young landed in COVID-19 protocols Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The Scoop: The Spurs are up to six players in protocols. Tyler Johnson signed a 10-day deal to help provide some extra minutes.

Thaddeus Young: Makes surprise appearance Friday
Young amassed two points (1-1 FG), four rebounds and one assist in 12 minutes during Friday's 118-105 loss to Memphis.
The Scoop: With the game well out of reach, the Spurs turned to their second and third units down the stretch, allowing Young to spend some rare time on the floor. He's clearly not a part of the Spurs' long-term plans, which means he shouldn't be a part of anyone's fantasy plans. Unless he is traded to a much more favorable location, he appears destined for the fantasy scrapheap, at least for this season.

Thaddeus Young: Logs 14 minutes Saturday
Young finished with zero points (0-2 FG) and five rebounds over 14 minutes during Saturday's 112-107 win over Golden State.
The Scoop: Young came in as the backup center for the third straight game, relegating Drew Eubanks to the role of head cheerleader. While the production wasn't there for Young, the fact he is back as a regular part of the rotation is a real positive. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should take notice given his ability to contribute across multiple categories in limited minutes.

Thaddeus Young: Plays just six minutes in victory
Young posted zero points (0-1 FG) and two assists over six minutes during Friday's 96-88 win over the Celtics.
The Scoop: Young continues to be minimized, logging just six minutes Friday. After a stint of relevance during Jakob Poeltl's absence, the hope was that Young would be able to force his way into the rotation moving forward. Unfortunately, that has not been the case and so despite the proven upside, he can be left on all waiver wires at this point.
