Patrick Williams: To miss rest of season
Williams (wrist) is expected to undergo surgery for his dislocated wrist and is expected to miss the remainder of the season, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The Scoop: This is absolutely devastating news for the second-year-pro and the Bulls. Williams came into the season questionable with an ankle injury, but he was able to return in time for the start of the season. The Bulls will now be without their young forward for the remainder of the year. Alex Caruso saw a season-high 32 minutes during the game in which Williams exited early, which may indicate that the reserve guard could be in store for more opportunities. Troy Brown, Javonte Green and Alize Johnson also emerge as candidates to pick up additional playing time as well amid Williams' rest-of-season absence.

Patrick Williams: Diagnosed with left wrist sprain
Head coach Billy Donovan updated after Thursday's loss to the Knicks that Williams suffered a left wrist sprain, Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: Wells suffered the injury on the receiving end of a flagrant one foul by Mitchell Robinson. The 20-year-old finished the game with six points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes. Donovan was unsure at the moment if Williams would need to undergo further testing. As of now, he should be considered questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Jazz.

Patrick Williams: Good to go Friday
Williams (shoulder) will be available for Friday's contest against the Pelicans, Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: Williams injured his shoulder while fighting for a loose ball during Wednesday's opener, but the issue doesn't appear to be too severe. The forward played 28 minutes and posted six points and one rebound against the Pistons. He'll likely see a similar workload against the Pelicans on Friday.
