|Troy Brown: Posts double-double in start|
Brown supplied 15 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 120-117 overtime win over the Pelicans.
The Scoop: Brown made his third straight start and enjoyed his best game of the campaign with season-best marks in points (15) and boards (10). He finished with his eighth career double-double in 27 minutes of action. |Troy Brown: Starting Friday|
Brown is starting Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Mike Trudell of the Lakers' official site reports.
The Scoop: Brown will step into a starting wing role following the news of Anthony Davis (back) sitting Friday while Russell Westbrook (hamstring) moves to the bench. Brown played 22 and 28 minutes in his only two appearances this season and is slated to see full starters' minutes given the Lakers' shallow rotation.

|Troy Brown: Will make debut Sunday|
Brown will make his season debut for the Lakers against the Trail Blazers on Sunday, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The Scoop: After dealing with a back injury for the entirety of preseason, Brown will finally suit up, and he'll most likely come off the bench. Brown was a rotational piece for the Bulls last season, averaging 16 minutes per game over 66 matchups. Since the Lakers already have Juan Toscano-Anderson and Matt Ryan coming off the bench, expect Brown to have a limited role with Los Angeles this season.
