Troy Brown: Coming off bench
Brown will come off the bench Saturday against the Celtics.
The Scoop: Brown is presumably heading to the bench for offensive firepower for the second unit, though that term is being used liberally given the lack of other options the Bulls have. In the nine games Brown has seen at least 20 minutes, he's averaged 5.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.6 steals in 26.7 minutes.

Troy Brown: Quiet night despite start
Brown recorded zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound and three assists across 27 minutes during Friday's 138-96 loss to the Warriors.
The Scoop: Brown drew his first start in over a month during Friday's contest, but he failed to make much of an impact in the blowout loss. Since the start of the calendar year, he's averaged 4.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in 20.7 minutes per game.

Troy Brown: Serviceable performance Monday
Brown racked up three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 20 minutes during Monday's 102-98 victory over Orlando.
The Scoop: Brown actually managed to put up some meaningful production in the win, something that has been lacking thus far this season. Before we go getting too excited about this, we need to skim back through his recent game log to see that more evidence is required before going and grabbing him in competitive formats.

Troy Brown: Gets 19 minutes in first game back
Brown (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) played 19 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 113-105 win over the Pacers, finishing with five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists.
The Scoop: In addition to Brown, the Bulls returned Zach LaVine, Matt Thomas and Ayo Dosunmu from multi-game stints in the health and safety protocols. Though Brown was able to recapture a rotation spot in his return, he could move out of a second-unit role once Derrick Jones (hamstring) and/or Alex Caruso (foot) are cleared to return, with both likely due back at some point later this week or in early January.
