Kelly Oubre: Flirts with double-double in win
Oubre contributed nine points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), nine rebounds, an assist and a steal across 23 minutes in Sunday's 111-95 win over the Nets.
The Scoop: Oubre drew the start with Terry Rozier (ankle) sidelined and put up a solid line despite a tepid shooting night. The journeyman joins the Hornets after a year with the Warriors, where injury limited him to 55 games. Now with his fourth team in four years, his role with Hornets will reside with the second unit and starts like Sunday's will be few and far between. Fortunately for Oubre, the Hornets are not a deep team, making their rotation very tight. Charlotte's lack of depth should allow for more opportunities for the former Kansas Jayhawk.

Kelly Oubre: Starting Sunday
Oubre is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Nets, Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
The Scoop: Oubre will enter the starting lineup Sunday with Terry Rozier sidelined by a sprained ankle injury he suffered Friday against Cleveland. Oubre had a massive impact off the bench last time out with 25 points (9-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, an assist and a steal in 27 minutes. He's taken 30 shots through the team's first two games and should be plenty busy in a larger role without Rozier available.

Kelly Oubre: Dominant off bench
Oubre recorded 25 points (9-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 27 minutes in Friday's 123-112 win over Cleveland.
The Scoop: Oubre reverted to a bench role Friday after he started Wednesday's opener. However, he still took on a considerable role since Terry Rozier exited the contest with an ankle injury. Oubre has averaged 19.5 points per game across his first two appearances of the season and will likely return to a starting role if Rozier misses additional time.

Kelly Oubre: Moving to bench
Oubre will come off the bench Friday against the Cavaliers.
The Scoop: Oubre got the Opening Night start at shooting guard, but with Terry Rozier (ankle) back from injury Friday, the ex-Warrior will shift to the bench. In 35 minutes Wednesday, Oubre finished with 14 points (5-17 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT) on 17 shots while adding three rebounds and an assist.
