Lyles registered 21 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals in 33 minutes during Friday's 103-87 victory over Toronto.

The Scoop:Lyles bounced back from a six-point performance during Tuesday's blowout loss to the Bulls with his second 20-plus point outing of the season. He also tied Cade Cunningham with a team-high seven boards. Starting center Isaiah Stewart played just 15 minutes and struggled offensively, which resulted in Lyles playing at least 30 minutes for just the third time this season. The 26-year-old has averaged 15.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists across his last nine appearances and will look to continue his strong play against the Suns on Sunday.

Trey Lyles: Double-doubles off bench
Lyles finished Saturday's 97-92 win over the Magic with 16 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 28 minutes.

The Scoop: With Isaiah Stewart back from COVID-19 protocols, Lyles has moved to the bench for the Pistons' last two contests. However, his production hasn't regressed, as he's notched back-to-back double-digit scoring outings from his usual reserve role. He also grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds during Saturday's win, registering his first double-double of the 2021-22 campaign. Over his last six appearances (three starts), Lyles is averaging 15.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 blocks in 27.7 minutes per game. He will look to continue his strong play off the bench against the Jazz on Monday.

Trey Lyles: Scores team-high 17 points
Lyles registered 17 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 140-111 loss to the Hornets.

The Scoop: Lyles has scored in double figures in back-to-back games after returning from a three-game absence due to COVID-19 protocols. The 6-foot-9 forward has now drawn three consecutive starts, which has translated into his most consistent production of the season. However, Isaiah Stewart is expected to return to action soon after clearing protocols Tuesday, so Lyles' time in the starting lineup is likely limited.

Trey Lyles: Back in starting five
Lyles will start Monday against Milwaukee, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports.

The Scoop: Lyles was cleared to play earlier in the day after coming out of the league's health and safety protocols, and with Isaiah Steward still in COVID-19 protocols, he'll draw the start. Lyles finished with 28 points, eight boards, four blocks and two assists in his last game Dec. 23 against Miami.

Trey Lyles: One of six Pistons cleared to play
Lyles will be available for Monday's game against Milwaukee, James Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

The Scoop: The Pistons will get several key pieces back from COVID-19 protocols Monday, including Lyles, who will make his first appearance since Dec. 23 in Miami. Lyles finished that game with a season-high 28 points to go with eight boards, two assists, four blocks and a steal. With Isaiah Stewart still in COVID-19 protocols, Lyles could see extended run at center Monday.
