Kyrie Irving: Eventful season comes to end
Irving ended with 20 points (6-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two blocks in 45 minutes during Monday's 116-112 loss to Boston.
The Scoop: Being swept by Boston is a fittingly wild and intertwined ending to an embroiled season for Irving. Logging 42.6 minutes per game across the four series losses, Irving averaged 21.3 points per game on 44.4 percent shooting. Irving possesses a player option for next season and seems likely to return to the Nets with hopes of a better ending in mind.

Kyrie Irving: Folds to smothering defense in loss
Irving finished with 16 points (6-17 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, nine assists, one block and three steals across 43 minutes during Saturday's 109-103 loss to the Celtics.
The Scoop: Although Irving was able to dish the ball around to get him close to a double-double, he had a horrible shooting night overall. He went 0-of-7 beyond the arc in the loss, and his shooting woes were mostly due to Marcus Smart, who almost never yielded an uncontested shot. It's apparent that the combo of Orving and Kevin Durant can't solve the Boston puzzle, and the duo will need a career production run to win four consecutive games.

Kyrie Irving: Struggles in loss
Irving produced 10 points (4-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block in 40 minutes during Wednesday's 114-107 loss to the Celtics.
The Scoop: After a dazzling Game 1 performance, Irving fell flat Wednesday as the Celtics claimed a 2-0 lead in the opening-round series. The point guard's 10 points were his lowest since becoming a full-time player this season and is certainly a cause for concern with Kevin Durant also struggling to find any offensive rhythm against Boston's stifling defense through the first two games. Irving and the Nets will look to bounce back during Game 3 on Saturday in Brooklyn.

Kyrie Irving: Stellar Game 1 performance
Irving recorded 39 points (12-20 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and four steals in 42 minutes during Sunday's 115-114 loss to the Celtics.
The Scoop: Irving was extremely efficient en route to his third straight game with at least 30 points. The point guard finished with at least five rebounds and five assists in the same game for the fourth time over his last five appearances, and he also tied his season high with four steals. Since becoming a full-time player 12 games ago, Irving has averaged 28.5 points, 7.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 40.8 minutes per game.
