Productive in spot start
Daniels finished with 14 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), a rebound, three assists and two steals across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 131-130 preseason win over the Pacers.
The Scoop: Daniels got the start alongside Trae Young in the backcourt since Bogdan Bogdanovic was rested. The former Pelicans guard did a solid job on both ends of the court. That said, Daniels is expected to open the regular season with a bench role, which should limit his upside considerably regardless of how he looks in preseason.
