| Cleared for basketball activities The Pistons announced Thursday that Ivey continues to make progress in his recovery from a broken left fibula and has been cleared for basketball activities. He's scheduled to enter the beginning phase of a reconditioning progression and will have his status updated in two weeks. The Scoop: Ivey hasn't played since Jan. 1 due to a broken left fibula, but getting clearance for basketball activities will leave the door open for him to play again in 2024-25 if the Pistons are able to make a deep playoff run. Before getting injured, the third-year guard averaged a career-high 17.6 points to go with 4.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.1 three-pointers and 0.9 steals in 29.9 minutes per game while shooting 46 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from downtown over 30 appearances.
