Kai Jones: Double-double machine as rookie
Jones averaged 18.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.2 blocks in 31.6 minutes across 24 appearances with the Greensboro Swarm during the 2021-22 season.
The Scoop: Jones scored in double figures in all but one contest during his rookie campaign and scored 20-plus points 10 times, including a season-high 30 during a March 26 win. The 21-year-old big man registered 14 double-doubles during the campaign and grabbed 15-plus rebounds four times, including a season-high 17 on two occasions. Jones also displayed an innate ability to protect the rim, blocking a season-high four shots five times.
