Edwards totaled 26 points (11-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 17 minutes in Team USA's 104-83 win over Puerto Rico in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
The Scoop: Edwards was firing on all cylinders in the blowout win, and he also became the youngest player since Dwight Howard in 2008 to score 20-plus points for Team USA in the Olympics. The young star has been a top option for Team USA in the group phase, and he will likely continue to serve as a top contributor off the bench in the Olympic quarterfinals. Edwards averaged 16.7 points and 3.0 rebounds across 17.7 minutes per game in three group-stage appearances.
