Sent to Twin Cities
DiVincenzo was traded to the Timberwolves on Friday along with Julius Randle in exchange for Karl-Anthony Towns, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: DiVincenzo was an integral part of the Knicks' rotation last season, averaging 15.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals and a career-high 3.5 triples across 29.1 minutes in 81 games. However, the addition of fellow Villanova product Mikal Bridges during the offseason made DiVincenzo somewhat expendable for New York. He now figures to play a prominent role on Minnesota's wing this season.
