|Lonzo Ball: Not yet taking contact|
Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said that Ball (knee) took part in non-contact individual drills during Sunday's practice, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
The Scoop: Ball and the other two Bulls players who have been sidelined with long-term injuries -- Patrick Williams (wrist) and Alex Caruso (wrist) -- all worked out on the court Sunday, but none have graduated to full-contact practice, which will likely mark the final hurdle all three will need to clear before being deemed ready for game action. Though Ball has seemingly avoided any setbacks since undergoing surgery in late January to repair a small meniscus tear in his left knee, Donovan hasn't shed any light regarding when the 24-year-old might be ready to take contact. With Ball's return likely at least a week or more away, fantasy managers in redraft leagues in the midst of head-to-head playoff matchups are probably best off using his roster spot elsewhere.
