Jaylen Brown: Solid despite struggling from deep
Brown closed with 21 points (9-20 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 111-102 loss to the Hornets.
The Scoop: The All-Star guard was effective from two-point range, going 7-for-9 from that area, but shot an abysmal 18 percent from deep on his 11 three-point attempts. Regardless, Brown is doing a decent job scoring recently for Boston and has reached 20 points in six out of his last seven appearances. The 25-year-old is averaging 23.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game over that seven-game span.
