| Dejounte Murray: Starting but won't see 30 minutes Murray will rejoin the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Celtics but isn't expected to play more than 30 minutes, Jay King of The Athletic reports. The Scoop: After missing the last five games due to a combination of the league's health and safety protocols and reconditioning, it's no surprise that Murray will have a minutes limit in his first game back since Dec. 23. Coach Gregg Popovich indicated that the Spurs want to make sure that Murray "won't overdo it" in his return to the court, so he isn't expected to see a full workload. Murray is averaging 17.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.2 minutes per game this season when healthy. Jan 5 11:26 ET |
