| Anthony Davis: Won't play Sunday Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said Davis (knee) won't be available for Sunday's game against the Heat, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports. The Scoop: After missing the Lakers' last 16 games with an MCL sprain of his left knee, Davis was upgraded to questionable ahead of Sunday's contest. The change in status suggests that Davis is on the cusp of a return to the lineup, but Vogel said the big man still needs more time to regain conditioning and strengthening his knee. The Lakers are encouraged by the progress Davis has made and were encouraged by how he looked in practice Saturday, so the 28-year-old seemingly isn't dealing with any setbacks.
