|Marcus Morris: On track for regular season|
Morris has progressed to full contract drills in practice for the first time during training camp, Mirjam Swanson of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
The Scoop: Morris was active for one preseason game, but he didn't see any playing time. The veteran forward opted to rest for the majority of training camp, likely due to the large workload he will have to endure during the regular season with Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined indefinitely. The Clippers open the regular season Oct. 21 against the Warriors, and Morris appears to be on track to play in that contest.
