|Paul George: Racks up eight steals in rout|
George tallied 16 points (6-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, eight steals and a blocked shot across 27 minutes in Monday's 116-86 blowout win over the Trail Blazers.
The Scoop: This was easily George's lowest scoring performance of the season, and he failed to record a rebound after grabbing double-digit boards in each of his first two games. However, the veteran forward made a huge impact on the defensive end, establishing a career high with eight thefts and adding a blocked shot. George's well-rounded skillset has been on display early in the campaign, as he is posting per-game averages of 28.7 points, 7.0 boards, 5.0 assists, 3.7 steals and 4.0 three-pointers while shooting 51.6 percent from the field through three contests.
