|Derrick Favors: Sent to Oklahoma City|
Favors and a future first-round pick were traded from the Jazz to the Thunder on Friday in exchange for a future second-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The Scoop: The veteran big man inked a three-year, $27 million deal with Utah last November, and the team decided to shed his salary after the 2021 NBA Draft on Thursday. Favors averaged 5.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 15.3 minutes in 68 games during the 2020-21 campaign, and he should fill a reserve role at center behind Isaiah Roby for Oklahoma City, assuming the team doesn't try to move Favors again.
