|Danny Green: Back in Philly on two-year pact|
Green agreed Wednesday with the 76ers on a two-year, $20 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The Scoop: Acquired from the Thunder last offseason after he was briefly flipped to Oklahoma City by the Lakers, Green fit in seamlessly for a Philadelphia squad in need of perimeter shooting and defense on the wing. While filling a low-usage role alongside Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris, Green knocked down 2.5 triples per contest at an excellent 40.5 percent clip while chipping in 3.8 boards, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks in 28.0 minutes per contest. Heading into his age-34 season, Green projects to start on the wing once again for the 76ers in 2021-22.
