|Tomas Satoransky: Headed to Pels in sign-and-trade|
Satoransky will be traded to the Pelicans as part of a sign-and-trade agreement that brings Lonzo Ball to the Bulls, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: The deal is obviously centered around shipping Ball to Chicago, but for their trouble the Pelicans will get Satoransky, Garrett Temple and a future second-round pick. Satoransky is in the final year of a contract that will pay him $10 million in 2021-22 before he hits free agency next summer. The guard struggled to find his footing in 2020-21, averaging just 7.7 points, 4.7 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 0.7 steals across 58 appearances for the Bulls (22.5 MPG).
