The 76ers were supremely shorthanded Tuesday, paving the way for Dowtin to not only move into the rotation, but to also see his most minutes of the season. He made the most of the extra playing time, turning in a career-best scoring performance while supplementing his line with decent peripheral numbers. The potential returns of Paul George (ankle), Tyrese Maxey (hand) and Caleb Martin (groin) as soon as Wednesday against the Knicks could result in Dowtin's minutes taking a significant hit.
