Game ETLatest Player News...
Allen (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's Game 4 against the Timberwolves, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.

The Scoop:Allen will miss a second game in a row after he aggravated a sprained right ankle in third quarter of the Suns' 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves on Tuesday in Game 2 of the series. Eric Gordon and Royce O'Neale should continue to see expanded roles in Allen's absence.

Questionable for Game 4
Allen (ankle) is questionable for Game 4 against the Timberwolves on Sunday, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

The Scoop: Allen didn't play in Game 3 of the series Friday, and his status is unclear, although the questionable tag leaves the door open for a return in what might be the final game of the Suns' season. Allen is averaging just 3.5 points per game while shooting a meager 20 percent from the field in his two appearances during the current series.

Won't play Friday
Allen (ankle) won't play in Friday's Game 3 versus the Timberwolves.

The Scoop: Allen was able to get in a limited practice Thursday and is considered day-to-day, so the Suns could get him back for Game 4 on Sunday. Eric Gordon and Royce O'Neale are candidates to see increased run in Game 3 while Allen sits out with a sprained right ankle.

Questionable for Game 3
Allen (ankle) is questionable for Friday's Game 3 against the Timberwolves, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.

The Scoop: Allen tweaked his right ankle injury during Tuesday's Game 2 but underwent an X-ray after the matchup that came back negative. He practiced in a limited capacity Thursday and was able to run with a water treadmill. He also said that his ankle feels "better than expected." It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Friday's matchup, but it's encouraging that he was able to do some activity Thursday.

Avoids serious injury
Coach Frank Vogel said Tuesday that X-rays came back negative on Allen's right ankle, and he should be considered day-to-day, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

The Scoop: Allen has dealt with a right ankle injury through the first two games of the series against Minnesota and should be considered questionable for Game 3 on Friday. If Allen is unable to suit up, Eric Gordon and Royce O'Neale will likely receive increased playing time.
