| Kent Bazemore: Out for COVID-19-related reasons The Lakers ruled Bazemore out for Sunday's game against the Bulls after placing him in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. The Scoop: He becomes the sixth member of the Lakers to join the health and safety protocols, putting him in danger of not only sitting out Sunday, but likely, additional contests to follow. Due to the Lakers' dwindling depth, Bazemore started in Friday's 110-92 loss to the Timberwolves, scoring 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and adding seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in 24 minutes.
