Trans. Aug 30 4:46 ET One member of the Golden State Warriors eclipsed all others during last spring's NBA championship run — Riley Curry, the adorable daughter of NBA MVP Stephen Curry. Whether next to her father at a post-game press conference or the victory parade , Riley grabbed the spotlight and didn't give it up until well into the offseason. We can expect to see much more from her in 2015-16 and beyond. [ Follow Dunks Don't Lie on Tumblr: The best slams from all of basketball] But staying relevant in the NBA takes preparation. So it's a good thin that Steph is preparing Riley for this year with some standard ankle tape: Must run in the family....... Photcred: @dmarjones That comment is a reference to Curry's history of ankle injuries, which limited him to just 26 games in 2011-12 and made his four-year, $44-million contract extension signed after that season look like something of a gamble for Golden State. Luckily for them, Curry has missed a total of just 10 games over the past three seasons and developed into one of the best shooters in NBA history and a bona fide superstar. He'll make a great deal more when he becomes an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2017 and has given every indication that he plans to come back to the Bay Area . At least we know she has a good mentor by her side. - - - - - - - Eric Freeman is a writer for Ball Don't Lie on Yahoo Sports. Have a tip?
