Inks multi-year deal The 76ers will convert Council's two-way deal to a four-year, $7.4 million standard NBA contract Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: As a two-way player, Council has split time between the 76ers and the G League's Delaware Blue Coats this season. For the 76ers, the 22-year-old guard has averaged 5.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.1 minutes across 31 appearances. Now that he's been upgraded from his two-way deal, Council is eligible to play in postseason contests for the 76ers, though he's not expected to be a regular part of head coach Nick Nurse's rotation.
