Tyrese Martin: Gets opportunity with Minnesota Martin signed a one-year contract with the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: Martin appeared in 16 NBA contests for the Hawks last year, averaging 1.3 points in 4.1 minutes per game. However, he thrived at the G League level, posting 18.0 points (50/37/80 shooting splits) and 9.2 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game. Martin is a long shot to make Minnesota's Opening Night roster, but he'll likely stick around the organization on a G League deal if he's cut. Sep 27 8:43 ET |
