Will undergo season-ending surgery The Bulls announced Sunday that Dosunmu will undergo season-ending surgery to address left shoulder instability.
The Scoop: Dosunmu had missed three straight contests due to a left shoulder subluxation before returning to play in Friday's win over the Raptors, finishing with 11 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes. However, with Dosunmu's shoulder still presenting complications, he'll be shut down for the season and get surgery to provide a more permanent fix for the injruy. The 25-year-old will end the season with averages of 12.3 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 three-pointers and 0.9 steals across 30.3 minutes per game in 46 appearances. With Dosunmu sidelined, Kevin Huerter, Dalen Terry and Julian Phillips are all candidates to take on some extra minutes. Mar 2 3:25 ET |
