Louis King: Returns from hand injury
King (hand) played 30 minutes Monday in the 76ers’ 111-103 loss to the Mavericks in the Las Vegas Summer League, scoring nine points (3-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt) and adding three steals, two assists and two blocks.
The Scoop: King missed the 76ers' first two games in Las Vegas with a right hand injury, but he slotted into the starting five for his Summer League debut Monday. Though he took a backseat usage-wise in the 76ers' loss, King made his mark on the defensive end to return value for those that deployed him in DFS contests. After finishing the past season as one of the 76ers' two-way players, King wasn't extended a qualifying offer earlier in the offseason and is now an unrestricted free agent. With a strong showing in Las Vegas, King could still end up being brought back by the 76ers on a two-way deal or Exhibit 10 contract.
