Markkanen (illness/conditioning) recorded 19 points (5-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 115-103 loss to the Clippers.
The Scoop: Back in action following a seven-game absence due to an illness and a subsequent reconditioning period, Markkanen didn't appear to be facing any restrictions. He likely would have sailed past the 30-minute mark had he not been subbed out of the game for good with 8:38 remaining, when the Clippers had built a 21-point lead to essentially secure the win. Tuesday's game was the front end of a back-to-back set, and given the Jazz's tendency to frequently hold him out, Markkanen will be at risk of sitting out that contest.
