Simmons won't play in Tuesday's game against the Magic due to left knee injury management, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports. He recorded four points (2-2 FG), six rebounds and three assists in 14 minutes during Monday's 111-86 win over the Grizzlies.

Simmons exited early in Saturday's loss to the Timberwolves due to left leg soreness, but he was cleared to play two days later despite being listed as questionable leading up to the contest. He didn't suffer an aggravation of the leg injury Monday, but as Barnes notes, Simmons has yet to gain clearance to play in both ends of back-to-backs after he previously missed extensive time earlier in the season on account of the left knee injury. Dennis Schroder fared well in a spot start at point guard Monday, so he'll likely remain with the top unit Tuesday sans Simmons.
