Gobert recorded eight points (4-7 FG), 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals over 33 minutes but didn't return for the final 7:18 of the fourth quarter of Tuesday's 118-100 win over the Clippers due to a rib injury.

Minnesota initially labeled Gobert as questionable to return when he checked out of the game, but he never re-entered the contest. According to Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Gobert said after the game that he was feeling fine and avoided any fractures to his ribs, but he noted that it was painful for him to move and breathe because of the location of the injury. The good news for Gobert is that Minnesota is off until Saturday's game against the Jazz, so he'll have three full days to rest up.
