Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said George played through a left groin issue during the latter stages of Tuesday's 127-116 win over the Lakers, Janis Carr of the OC Register reports.

George generated 17 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and one block in the win but logged just 30 minutes, down from his season average of 34.7 despite the contest being competitive down the stretch. Lue didn't elaborate on the extent of George's injury, but the veteran forward should at least benefit from the Clippers having two straight days off before the team returns to action Friday in Toronto.
