Rose will return to action Wednesday after missing the second leg of a back-to-back set Sunday against the Celtics due to left knee injury maintenance. The veteran guard put an end to a seven-game absence Saturday, when he played 14 minutes in a 120-108 win over the Spurs. Even if he continues to play off of the Grizzlies' second unit, Rose could still be in store for an uptick in minutes moving forward while Ja Morant (suspension) remains out and while six other players are out indefinitely with injuries.
