| Gordon is dealing with a minor undisclosed injury and will not suit up for Sunday's preseason game against the Celtics in Abu Dhabi, Bennett Durando of The Denver Post reports. The Scoop:The injury likely isn't anything that would keep Gordon from playing in the regular season, but the Nuggets won't take any chances with the veteran forward in their second game of the exhibition schedule. Vlatko Cancar will start at power forward in Gordon's stead Sunday, and the 29-year-old's next opportunity to suit up during the preseason will come Oct. 13 against the Suns. The Scoop: The entire Nuggets offense struggled in this game, as shown by the fact the team shot 30.2 percent from the field and 19.4 percent from three-point range in this Game 6 loss. Despite the collective struggles, Gordon found a way to make an impact with his two-way play, and he was also one of just three Denver players who scored in double digits in this loss. The Scoop: Even though Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray get most of the attention for carrying Denver back from an 0-2 deficit, Gordon's performance Sunday can't be overlooked. He became the first player in NBA history to put up at least 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists while shooting 90 percent or better from the field in a playoff game.
