GM Rating (%) (Negotiation Skills) 27.78
Translation: Low-Baller - Mr. Veteran's exception... A GM that looks for nothing but bargains and doesn't see anything wrong with getting Kobe Bryant for the league minimum...
This GM, whether they have the money or not, are the ones offering Veteran exceptions for any and every player hoping to manipulate the system. When compared to GMs across multiple leagues, their offers for the same player tend to be the lowest.
Wani's Pros - These are the GMs who try to "get over". I love them because their actions eventually make the game better and force GMs to stay alert and be active. They balance the Mock GM Universe
Wani's Cons - As much as they are needed, they tend to annoy the other GMs in free agency especially if they do manage to "get over" the system. They annoy Agents the most because it forces the Agent to make sure their players don't go below market value.
Trade Rating (Give/Take Talent) -12.57 EFF
Translation: Business Trader - A GM who is looking for cap space in order to replace the talent they traded away...
This traders' main motivation is to clear cap space in the hopes of turning that cap space into talent via free agency. Their trades usually involve giving up some talent that they feel is overrated or overpaid so they can spend money on talent in the free agent market. You should look at both the trade and cap relief ratings at the same time to evaluate the GM. You will find Business Traders trade ratings are close in the negative (-) and their cap relief also in the negative (-)
Wani's Pros - The Business Traders feel they can get the same talent in the free agent market at half the price and are willing to risk trading away talent to go after new talent via free agency. Business Traders make the world go around
Wani's Cons - None. A Business Trader sees Mock GM for what it is and knows it's okay to give up talent for the sake of acquiring new talent.
Cap Relief Rating (Give/Take Salary) $2.58M
Translation: Even - A GM whose trades are even in terms of cap relief...
This traders' main motivation is to keep balance in a league. They feel trades should be mutually beneficial to all parties involved. Their trades usually involve not taking on too much cap than what they are giving whether the trade involves big talent or small talent and if they do gain significant cap relief it is at the expense of talent. You should look at both the trade and cap relief ratings at the same time to evaluate the GM. You will find these GMs trade ratings are close to zero (0) and their cap relief in the 6-figures (+/-)
Wani's Pros - The Even Cap Relief GMs are the Bill Simmons of Mock GM who love coming up with trades that are realistic and follow the CBA guidlines.
Wani's Cons - This player is more likely an Even Trader and thus may not fully accept all the motivations behind a trade especially the lop-sided trades that involve cap relief for one team and the acquisition of talent for the other team. They frown on the Trade Sharks even though trades involving cap-space for talent are legal trades in Mock GM. A disgruntled Even Trader can cause havoc in a league if they feel a trade is not even and can isolate themselves and others in the process
