The Scoop: It's kind of a no-brainer for Arthur after yet another injury-plagued season. He played just 17.1 minutes per game and couldn't really get much playing time despite the Nuggets having very little depth down the stretch. He The 26-year-old forward won't have much fantasy value next season.
Darrell Arthur played on Wednesday after missing Tuesday's practice due to a knee issue, scoring four points with three boards, one assist, one block and one steal in 18 minutes.
The Scoop:He's had a few issues in his career, most notably a torn Achilles back in 2011. Arthur was expected to see some extra playing time since J.J. Hickson (knee) and Wilson Chandler (groin) went down, but he's played just 18.8 minutes per game over his last five for averages of 6.0 points, 4.6 boards and 1.2 blocks. Chances are his lack of durability explain the low playing time and he's only a low-end option in fantasy right now.
The Scoop:This sounds like a precautionary day off for the six-year veteran, who is averaging 7.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks in just 20 minutes per game this April. Roto league owners scouring the waiver wire for defensive stats should at least keep Arthur in mind.
Darrell Arthur played 30 minutes against the Spurs on Wednesday with nine points, four boards, one assist, four steals and three blocks.
The Scoop:The defense was a surprise from DA, but the playing time is not. He's played 25.5 minutes per game in his last four and looks to be a main bench guy next to Aaron Brooks. Arthur hasn't shot the ball too well, but he has the potential to be worth owning in standard leagues.
We have essentially run out of new compliments for Oklahoma City Thunder uber-star Kevin Durant. In a season that figures to earn the 25-year-old his first MVP award, Durant has elevated his game to new levels, carried a title contender for long stretches both with and without co-star Russell Westbrook, and has arguably made basketball more fun to watch than anyone else in the world over the past few months. The kid has skills.
Yet these explanations cannot communicate everything amazing about Durant's play. Take, for instance, this incredible highlight from Monday night's 117-96 win against the visiting Denver Nuggets . In the final minute of the first quarter, KD sized up Denver forward Darrell Arthur and unleashed a torrent of dribbling moves on his way to an and-one finish. Check it out below:
Durant finished with 27 points on 10-of-21 shooting – a quality performance that won't stand out as one of his better nights. Still, this highlight is up there with the best plays we've seen from any player in the 2013-14 NBA season. Of course, even with just a few weeks left, it's possible that Durant will top himself before we reach the playoffs.

DENVER -- The Denver Nuggets might be running out of healthy bodies, but that did not stop them from winning Sunday. Forward Kenneth Faried had 20 points and eight rebounds as the short-handed Nuggets overcame a 14-point deficit in the first quarter to defeat the Washington Wizards 105-102. Denver won its fifth straight home game. Nuggets guard Randy Foye had 17 points and forward Darrell Arthur added 15 off the bench, which outscored Washington's reserves 52-28.
The Washington Wizards turned it over on 24 possessions and only totaled 20 assists in a disappointing performance in which they fell in a close game to the Denver Nuggets, 105-102. Denver (32-38) gets one in the win column after losing to Dallas on Friday. Kenneth Faried scored 20 points on 8-15 shooting from the field and 4-5 from the free throw line. Other top performers for Denver were Darrell Arthur with 15 points and 5 rebounds, and Aaron Brooks with 13 points and 7 assists.
The Scoop: None.
