Trans. Mar 10 5:50 ET (Mar 10 5:50 ET ) TORONTO -- Kyle Lowry drained a fade-away jumper with 14.2 seconds remaining, and the Toronto Raptors picked up a 100-96 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.
Lowry 26 points, seven assists and five rebounds Wednesday in a 107-105 overtime loss to Chicago.
The Scoop:Lowry has now put together back-to-back 20-point efforts for the first time in well over a month. He also played 34 minutes Wednesday compared to 21 for Jose Calderon.
Lowry was initially expected to the miss the second half of Tuesday's game against Brooklyn after spraining his ankle, but he returned to score 19 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter in the Raptors' 113-106 loss.
The Scoop:"I thought I was done, but we've got a great training staff," Lowry said. "I've been hurt a lot this year and I just wanted to get back out there with my teammates, and coach trusted me that I said I was OK and he put me back in."
Update: Raptors coach Dwane Casey indicated on Wednesday that Calderon would remain the starting point guard even after Kyle Lowry is cleared to play, the Toronto Star reports.
