Trans. Sep 3 12:22 ET (Sep 3 12:22 ET ) Looking for a fresh start, Jared Dudley couldn't be happier to have landed with the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee acquired the veteran forward last week from the Los Angeles Clippers, who also gave up a conditional first-round draft pick, in exchange for Carlos Delfino and Miroslav Radulijca, both of whom were waived this week. Dudley is looking to bounce back from a rough season in Los Angeles. ''It was probably the most injury-plagued season I've had,'' Dudley said Tuesday at the Bucks' training facility.
The Scoop:The 32 year old could still contribute as a perimeter shooter off the bench, but unfortunately his surgically-repaired right foot isn't healing properly. With his 2014-15 season in jeopardy it's very unlikely that any team will give him a guaranteed contract.
The Scoop:Delfino lasted three days with the Clippers organization before being waived. The move was to create cap space, as the Clippers are now $4.4 million under the hard cap, and they can now add four more players. Chris Douglas-Roberts is reportedly on the Clippers' radar, and he would add emergency depth to the wings. If Douglas-Roberts lands in LA, it will take an injury for him to become fantasy relevant.
The Los Angeles Clippers traded forward Jared Dudley to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday in an NBA deal for Argentine forward Carlos Delfino and Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica. The trade also netted the Bucks a 2017 first-round NBA Draft pick from the Clippers while shipping a 2015 second-round selection to the Clippers.
