Greivis Vasquez hopes to return to the Nets next season. New York Post
The Scoop: Vasquez played in just three games for Brooklyn this season after signing a one-year, $4.3 million deal. Vasquez's ankle simply wasn't healthy enough to withstand an NBA pounding. "The last two years, I played 23 or 24 games with a badly atrophied ankle,'' Vasquez said. "They cut a bit of the tibia to create space in that area. It is called distraction surgery." He is "hopeful" he can recover in time for next season, but obviously has no fantasy value.
