The Kings are reportedly "comfortable" with Darren Collison as their starting point guard next season. David Aldridge on Twitter
The Scoop: This started to become clear after a report from the Sacramento Bee indicated that the Kings don't intend to re-sign Rajon Rondo. Collison played well last season with averages of 14.0 points, 4.3 assists, 2.3 boards, 1.0 steals and 1.2 3-pointers, but his fantasy value would get a significant boost with Rondo moving on. To be clear, Collison is still facing two misdemeanor domestic violence charges and the NBA could discipline him as well. Additionally, the Kings are expected to pursue another backup PG which would be bad news for rookie Isaiah Cousins.
