Emmanuel Mudiay got baptized by Chris Paul and the Clippers in Friday's preseason opener, hitting just 5-of-18 shots (including three treys) for 14 points, two rebounds, three assists, one steal and a whopping eight turnovers.
The Scoop: Mudiay made a really bad game look about as good as one can, because the talent and potential was clearly evident. He's going to be one of the hardest players in the NBA to project, and tonight was clearly all about getting him much-needed experience. Usage won't be an issue for the rookie this season, but how he converts on all of those touches is very much up for debate.
